About Steve Mazda

Steve Mazda is a nationally recognized author, keynote speaker, and independent stockbroker who has dedicated more than four decades to educating clients about investments and financial literacy. In the early 1980s, he helped establish some of the very first 401(k) plans in the United States and played a pivotal role in saving the program from congressional extinction. Since 2000, Steve has been with Cantella & Co. Inc. (now Cambridge Investment Research, Inc.) as a General Securities Principal, where he focuses on investment research and portfolio design. He is also the executive producer of 401(k) Magic, an award-winning children’s film recognized for excellence in education and social impact. Today, Steve continues his advocacy for stronger Social Security, savings, and retirement benefits for everyday workers and employers.
